The hotel/motel is relaxed and easy-going, with reasonably friendly staff (though being able to speak some French helps). Breakfast is served from 6:30am on a buffet basis - nothing fancy but perfectly OK and you can have as much as you like. The rooms are clean with sinks and are accessed with a code, so you don't have to remember to return your key!
The location is out of the centre of Vannes and involves a bit of a hike for those without their own transport (about 15 minutes from the bus and railway station and twice that to the centre). There are few facilities nearby. The cheapest rooms are not en-suite and, during my stay, some of the toilets were out of service. The hotel rents towels for 3 euros but does not provide them with the room.

Impossible de dormir de 23h30 à 2 h00 du matin, car des personnes criaient et tapaient dans les murs...
Il faudrait que le personnel intervienne plus rapidement pour éjecter ou faire taire ces personnes.
