I took my family of 16 people (aged 2 - 71) to stay in the Manor House for my 70th birthday. The indoor and outdoor space was excellent - the garden area was particularly wonderful with beautiful foliage, a grass area, woodland, picnic tables and a barbeque. The weather was fantastic and we were able to be outside nearly all the time. Indoors the rooms were huge with two lounges and a massive table in the dining room which accommodated us all.
Although there were enough bathrooms for us one of them had water constantly running either out of the bath tap or the shower above it. When someone used an upstairs shower or bath there was a major drainage issue over the courtyard front door and the water cascaded down on the outside of the bathroom. One of the downstairs bathrooms was completely infested (floor, bath, toilet and window ledges) with what I thought at first were ants but were possibly weavels (black in colour). Additionally many of the taps around the property were difficult to turn off. Lastly I should mention that not all of the windows (where some of the children were sleeping) locked and when the owner provided a key it didn't work on all of them.

Quiet location Clean Good parking Comfy bed Good shower Good kitchen and utensils Good blackout blind in the bedroom
The doors were getting stuck on the carpet, so a bit stiff. Skylights were lovely and bright but could do with a clean.

The location was beautiful, The Studio was clean, the water in the shower was hot and it had adequate facilities. It was quiet, but just off the road so we were able to drive to Beaumaris, Penmon Point, Red Wharfe Bay and a beautiful small beach which was within walking distance. However Anglesea roads don't have verges, so it felt dangerous to try to walk.
The Studio needed a thorough makeover, the radiators were going rusty, the overhead Velux Windows were fogged and needed replacing, the oven on the cooker didn't work, and the settee and armchair were uncomfortable. The cotton duvets were quite thin, and we had to use a blanket as the temperature dropped during our stay. James the owner fixed the oven promptly (it wasn't broken, but as there were no instructions for any of the facilities we struggled to make it work). Some information about the area would have been helpful as well, but another holidaymaker told us about the local area, (where the beach was and how to get to the local village). There were no instruction manuals for any of the facilities either, but we managed.
