This room was one of the most affordable rooms in Tahoe! The t.v remote didn’t work but besides that, this room was a great deal!

This is probably the worst place I ever stayed at. I have a pretty high tolerance for basic amenities and cheap motels. But this is probably the dirtiest and most basic facility. The staff was rude, and the front office was not open for most of the day if you had questions or needed something. I kindly asked during check in if we could get a quieter room. She laughed in my face and said “this is a public place, what do you expect”. There were so many ways to answer this question without coming off as rude but this is how the staff chose to do it…
The bedsheet was definitely not clean, it had little chunks of skin and black lint, looked like someone slept in it. There was nothing in the room, no tissues, one extra roll of toilet paper, towels were thin and rough like sand paper, no desk/chair, dust and dirt in the corner of the room, exposed wires every where. To top it all, the fire alarm started chirping in the middle of the night because the battery was dead. When I went to the front desk for help, the lady told me to remove it myself. I had to stand on a suitcase to do this because of there wasn’t a single chair in the room. The only saving grace was the shower, it was big and looked somewhat clean. Although given how the rest of the place looked, it might just be the dark marbling hiding the dirt and grim.
You can’t pay me enough to stay here again, take your money elsewhere. This place is not even that cheaper compared to some of the other places in the area…

After 1 night the property manager has thrown all my items away like I have checked out.
The first day I checked in I spoke to the front desk person (who lives there) and the property manager (whom also lives there). The property manager and I had a conversation about how long I was staying. He seemed very nice. His name was Rich.
The next morning I leave to explore Tahoe. I come back and my room is straighten out and all my stuff is gone. I knocked on the property manager’s door to ask him what happened. He told me “oh, I thought you checked out” and I said “I just told you yesterday that I was here for 2 nights”. He said “I threw all your stuff out”.
Long story short. Both the front desk person (a lady) and Rich, take my items out of the dumpster, wash them real fast with cold water and try to give my stuff back. I was pissed. I do not remind coming here.
