Moonstone Beach Motel

As soon as we walked in the office, we were greeted by Kate with a big hello. She immediately helped meet our needs and check us into our room. The other staff we encountered, were also super friendly. The room was beautiful, overlooking the ocean. Very clean, well decorated. They even had little special things for our pets.

Our only complaint is sitting in the living room we could hear the people upstairs, it sounded like they were roller skating. We could basically hear their conversation.

Staff flexibility and kindness with a late check-in, the ocean view, the calming, well-made feel of the room, the cleanliness, the personal touches (calming music playing when I entered, electric candles I could easily turn on, cozy furniture selection, coffee and tea options).

Nothing I can think of right now!

The hotel staff was so very friendly and the property was well taken care of.

The property and staff were amazing. Very clean, friendly, and kitchenette was well stocked. Very close proximity to the beach. I’ve stayed here before and it’s been a favorite spot.

Unfortunately I will not be returning because of the horrible smell of whatever artificial fragrance they spray in the rooms. It was overwhelmingly STRONG and stunk up the space. It pervaded all of our stuff and I washed everything we owned afterwards bc it got into all of our clothes/ worn or not! We left the door open the entire time we were there just to be able to survive the stench. Smelled like a cheap motel. It was so sad and disappointing! No other gross smells to hide or disguise- the place was immaculate! Why the spray? I’m there to enjoy fresh ocean air! Sadly it ruined the experience and as much as I love this place, I won’t be back unless this changes.
