The Norman House was very roomy and comfortable for our family get-together! It is located at a convenient location to fun beach coves! The fireplace and the billiard table were great to have on the rainy days!
We didn't let the following inconveniences bother our overall good experience, but the hot tub was non-functional, the roof leaked, and the ice maker in the refrigerator was broken.

It took a while to figure out the key thi g. Finally, we just kept the code on our phones and didn't get the key
Loved,loved the kitchen and all the equipment available in it. And the views, the deck, location, bbq,piano, hot tub, pool room
There are many positives about this house.But, It is an older house and some things need maintenance .
Some of the baseboard heaters were broken and copper pipes exposed. The vertical blinds in the bdrm off the hot tub were broken and couldn't be moved.
Mostly, the lighting was kind a problem. There was only 1 reading lamp in the huge living room and no upper lights. Another lighting problem was, although there were light switches everywhere, some of them didn't seem to control anything.
So....light and electrical.

My group of friends has been coming to Sea Ranch for over 25 years and have stayed in Norman house many times. We love the large kitchen and dining area (big table that can sit 10 ) and location. This time however, there were several problems with the house. But once I called the agent in Gualala and got her after hours everything was taken care of. The next morning 2 different workmen came to fix things. Impressive! I hope that by our next visit Norman gets a much needed renovation so we can stay there again .

We've stayed in Norman several times. Lots of seating for a large group. New bedroom furniture and tv in living room for watching Oscars. I love staying in the Crow's Nest, it's ocean view, cozy feeling - private yet right by the main house. We also were able to get early check in and late check out! And a very hot hot tub!
Recycling bins would be helpful. Couldn't find any laundry detergent this time. . Minor stuff.
