Hidden gem 💎 We went to see Helen but didn't want to leave the secluded cabin! Hot tub on the screened in deck. Fire pit and a calm soothing creek! Beds were comfy. Loved the shower! Great cabin and great trip!! Will definitely stay again!
The ONLY thing that put a damper on vaca was a strong smell that seemed to be from the kitchen. Lasted the whole 2 1/2 days there. All 3 of us had trouble breathing. They offered to send someone out but given our short stay, they couldn't have eliminated the odor. I believe the previous guests cooked something very smelly that just wouldn't leave. It was NOT the owners fault imo. Just wish guests could be more considerate when cooking spicy stinky foods.

wonderful location, beautifully appointed, and completely peaceful.
the smell- bad odor and the fire place only worked for about an hour - may have run out of gas.

it was secluded and felt homey and the shower was nice
the fire place didn’t work. we tried several times. the hot tub was dirty and had a dirty bandaid in it which tells me it was never cleaned, it would never get warm enough anyways. the bed was not comfortable at all and very high off the ground. sheets had dog hair on them.
