Location was ideal - very close to the waterfront and main shopping areas, restaurants etc. Hotel was great. full of charm, comfortable, good facilities and really friendly, attentive staff. Parking was also a plus

The carpet in the guest room needs to be replaced immediately. It is in terrible shape. I have never stayed at a hotel where the room seems to be neglected.
