It was quaint and nostalgic. Very clean. Gently used but a great atmosphere. Just down the street from the Short Circuit house and I forgot to drive by.

Wonderful checkin experience from the person at the front desk. Great explanations and friendly welcome to the quirky motel. The rooms are well appointed and have been updated with a kitschiness that attracted us here.
A bit of road noise through the night with a few extra loud (and testosterone filled) vehicles revving by at late hours. The doors of the rooms have gaps around that allow in extra noise from outside.

The rooms were very clean and tidy as well as being decorated in a retro style, that fit the building
Of the three rooms that we rented, two of them the bathroom door stuck or just would not close at all. Also, the plumbing was a little weird in that you would be showering, and all of a sudden, the water would turn blistering hot.
