The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, which made the cabin feel easy and comfortable. I also appreciated the gray sheets and towels—an unexpectedly smart choice that felt practical and much more forgiving than white. And the beach access was a standout; being able to run a few miles while only seeing a few people felt like the kind of peace you wish you could pack up and take home.
The cabin loop did not have a sign indicating which direction drivers should proceed. I ended up going clockwise and encountered a large truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving us face-to-face on the narrow road. The driver remained in his truck with his headlights shining directly at me until I backed up almost towards the entrance. After I moved, he only needed to pull forward a few feet to park at his unit. It was an unnecessary and avoidable altercation that could likely have been prevented with clearer signage.

We loved the cabin! It was clean and comfortable.
The “extras” aren’t great. The mini gold and disc golf is nothing special. The pool is okay and the rec room is run down.

Cabin itself was small but nice, with enough chairs and most tools (pots and pans, plates and bowls, utensils) to make kitchen usable. Closeness to the beach was good and it was also not too far from Newport.
The grill pit was full of cigarette butts, the gas grill was full of spider webs and with nothing onsite to clean them onsite, it was not possible to use. Cooking inside the cabin set off the fire alarm (pan cooked steaks). Bunk beds' beddings were flaky and had to be put on by ourselves. Onsite facilities were mostly unusable (jacuzzi didn't work, foosball table was missing a defensive line, not enough balls for pool, etc). There were no shampoos, soaps, etc. The fridge was small and uneven in temperature.
