Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Huntington

I liked everything they had to offer from clean rooms to the pool, patio and breakfast. Everyone was friendly and helpful

Have stayed here several times. Close to highway. Room was very clean as was the bathroom. Property was overall very clean. Nice pool but very small. Staff is always very friendly here.

I was extremely upset when my husband went downstairs to bring most of our luggage to our truck. I was in the bathroom and my purse and some other belongings were still in the room. I heard someone knock and it was a woman who said housekeeping. I thought it was next door because we didn’t check out yet. When my husband came back he said the doors deadbolt was sticking out to hold the door open. Meanwhile anyone could have come in, taken my purse or walked in the bathroom while I was on the toilet. I didn’t lock the bathroom door thinking no one would be in our room. I mentioned it to the girl when we checked out. Still very shocked housekeeping would leave our door open without knowing we didn’t check out yet and I’m in the bathroom.

The common area was nice.

Door to room needed serious repair. Carpet was very dingy. Faint mildew smell. Distinct smell of marijuana coming from the housekeeping cart. Just not what I expected for what we paid per night.
