Victoria Cottage is a traditional, mid terraced Victorian cottage situated in the bustling town of Marske-by-the-Sea. Having been totally refurbished, Victoria Cottage retains some delightful period features such as the cast iron fireplace in the living room. Victoria Cottage sleeps four and has three bedrooms - one double and two singles and also has a fitted galley-style kitchen with dining room, cosy living room and a bathroom with shower over, basin and WC. Victoria Cottage conveniently has off road parking for one car and a small, enclosed yard with a shed. Just a ten minute walk away are the shops and pubs within the town of Marske-by-the-Sea. Victoria Cottage is an ideal base for visiting the many attractions nearby and exploring the area.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: The busy, coastal town of Marske-by-the-Sea has many shops, pubs and restaurants. One of the main attractions in the town is the excellent long sandy beach and sand dunes. Near to Marske-by-the-Sea is Captain's Cook birthplace, the mining museum and Zetland lifeboat museum. Just three miles away is the old spa town of Saltburn with many attractions such as the Smugglers Heritage Centre, the Cliff Lift and and pier which is the most northerly surviving pier in Britain. The town also has many pubs and restaurants. For walkers, there is the stunning North York Moors National Park. Also worth a visit are the lovely fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay as well as the seaside town of Whitby. Marske-by-the-Sea is a fantastic base with many villages, towns and attractions within the area.
