We enjoyed a this large and proper house and garden and felt at home quickly. Everything is present, the owner is very kind and of great help in case of questions. The location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and beach. Really wonderful and interesting environment, nature, historical places, wonderful sea with broad sand beach and incredible tide changes. Real recommendation!

Great location, perfectly clean home with everything you need for your stay. Nice garden with chairs and umbrella. Very friendly host who showed us everything on our first day. Highly recommend!

We (family of 4) stayed here for a week in August and had a lovely time. Cannot fault the house - it is fantastic. Immaculately clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, including cloths and cleaning equipment and things like sugar, herbs and coffee in the cupboards for you to use. Lovely comfortable beds - (you need to take your own sheets, pillow cases and towels) and plenty of storage space and coat hangers. It is beautifully furnished - very colourful and homely. There is a log burner in the living room, which we used one day when the weather wasn't great, and there are plenty of logs all chopped up and ready to use. It has a lovely big garden with a garden table and bench and several sun loungers and a barbecue. It got the sun from first thing in the morning until around 7pm, so great for sunbathing and eating al fresco. It's very well situated in Wissant - it only took about 20 minutes to get to from the channel tunnel. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the shops, where there is a boulangerie (for daily baguettes and croissants) a Spar and several other shops and places to eat - including take away places for delicious fresh crepes and gaufres! The gorgeous beach is only a few minutes further on. Lovely big wide sandy beach with sand dunes. Great for small children as it stayed shallow for quite a long way out. There is a massive market on Wednesday mornings in the town and a smaller one on Friday evening with stalls selling all different kinds of food, clothes, toys etc - where we bought some delicious paella!
The owner Veronique is very welcoming and friendly (although doesn't speak much English). She only lives a few doors away and said we could pop round if we had any problems or queries (which we didn't), but she isn't at all intrusive and never came over.
All in all, it was a great holiday in a gorgeous house! Merci beaucoup Veronique.
