Very close to the event at Rose Lane Park (Granddaughter's Softball Tournament) we needed to be at , staff was very nice & helpful , room was clean & a nice continental breakfast
No elevator (Bad knees , I should have requested a room on main entry level)

Great Mexican restaurant within walking distance. In town (this is JUST on the outskirts of historic downtown) is a quaint 50s restaurant where we had breakfast ,attached to large antique store and short drive to many scenic areas of north georgia. Great hub
The lobby has been upgraded as has the entire hotel. But it lacks a welcoming cozy vibe when you first walk in that most hotels have. Multiple table and chairs right by check in are functional for breakfast but not inviting at all. Cant rem any cozy, inviting lobby furniture just some cute wall decor. They could add a budget friendly electric fireplace and a couple of comfortable arm chairs and easily fix the issue. Its not a deal breaker of course!

Room frig was tiny but they let us use their larger frig/ freezer in their kitchen.
They gave us a handicap room which we did not need or want. The room was small and not very nice compared to the other rooms we saw there while checking out. The maids were cleaning some other rooms and the doors were open. I feel like they gave us a crappy room since we booked online at a discounted price.
