The Inn at 161

Very tastefully decorated & immaculate. A Good breakfast was included too!

The walls (@ least downstairs) are paper thin.

It was perfect for two couples

Super quaint and cozy. Room was clean and staff was excellent. A few minute walk to town where everything is.

Next time I’ll request a room without the claw tub shower. Not my jam but I’m sure others will like it.

Our contact, Kari, was very kind and sweet. The breakfast was similar to what we have at home each morning. Yogurt, fruit, and granola. Bagels, Oatmeal (in darling little Mason jars), and a breakfast cake were available as well. Apples and Oranges were free for the taking. A community refrigerator in the breakfast parlor was provided for guests. We housed the cheeses we brought in the community fridge. Better than having it in our room. Fresh, iced water was always available. Our room was large, and the fireplace was a nice bonus. We were able to open our windows at night for fresh air. Traffic was VERY minimal as 161 is off the beaten path of Highway 49. Rooms were SUPER CLEAN, and the shower pressure was the best. We were able to play Rummikub in the breakfast parlor after breakfast hours...and with a glass of our own wine, what could be better? The room and the surrounding area were very CLEAN, and the front and side gardens were a delight. Everywhere was walkable - we're in our mid-seventies, and we're in great shape, for now. :>) We walked the back street parallel to Main Street to get to the main part of town.

The Inn at 161 is an older structure. We stayed downstairs, and the creaks from movement above, and the muffled sounds between rooms and floors reflect that fact the structure is old. Sounds like that bug me. I would say the place was quiet after 10 PM, except for one late-night arrival.
