Great place in SLO. I returned a rental car at the SLO airport and the A1 bus took me very close to Lamplighter Inn. It was also walking distance to Amtrak the next day so great location for me.

The room a/c heat unit was broken and no one could fix it when we arrived. I was told maintenance was not available until morning. We were only staying one night. I was informed this is an ongoing problem and that it was known that heating unit was not working. The temperature outside was in the low 40s, the room may have been in the 50’s at most. No heater in the bathroom as it seemed the heat bulb was missing. Cigarette burns in the comforter. Only decaf coffee pods in the room.. Night staff Jason was excellent.
