It’s good for budget travelers. Pictures of the hotel and rooms are real but don’t tell the whole story. The building smells weird. Housekeeping is once every 2 weeks. The door handles are loose. Anyone can walk in to the building. Don’t feel secure. During check in, a guest told front desk that a lady was in his room with the room key. She stole his stuff and took off. No TV signal and informed front desk in the morning , the staff said will follow up since a number of guest had the same issue. However, called front desk again in the evening, the guy totally unaware of the problem.

This place is not worth saving a few dollars. I booked and stay one night here to rest on my drive back to NorCal. The staff is ok. They are not rude but not the most friendly either, which i don’t mind because I was only checking in to rest for the night before driving home to NorCal. I should have considered it a warning sign when I saw that the place was not very clean, a bit worn down, and had a little bit of a smell. But since I had prepaid for the room and only staying one night, I brushed it aside. The big problem was when I woke up around 6:30 the next morning, I found a HUGE trail of ants that lead from the window , across the wall behind the TV to the kitchenette’s stove.. There was a massive pile of ants all over the stovetop and on top of the counter… including outside and some inside of my closed up take out containers that were inside a tied up plastic bag on top of the counter. The ants were all over my phone and other electronics that i had charging on the counter too. I literally stayed less than 24 hours at this hotel. I gathered my thing and and tried to shake and wipe off all the ants from my belongings so i can check out ASAP. When I checked out, I showed the employee the videos I took of all the ants and he said he was going to have the cleaners take a look at it. He said he was going to let his boss know and reach out to me. They have not reached out to me on this matter.

The best thing about this place is that they let us out of paying for our entire reserved period when we couldn’t take anymore and checked out 6 days early., That was nice, and we appreciated, but was warranted. We booked a room for 3 adults that had a queen bed and a pull out couch. The pull out was badly broken and the interior mattress was not made and the mattress was so disgusting that my son slept sitting on the couch with his feet propped up. After we wrestled the broken bed frame back into the couch base (because we couldn’t get it all the way out), we had no confidence that any other pull out in the entire place would be clean enough to sleep on. The bathroom tub was so disgusting that we all wore flip flops to shower. The provided (mounted) hair dryer sizzled and sparked and then died (omitting smoke and electrical fire smell) the second it was turned on, and the staff could not remove it from the room. No change of room was offered, no effort at trying to improve anything. The biggest issue I saw was the CONSTANTLY placed “Be back in 5 minutes” sign at the front desk. There was never anyone present to help with anything, not that when you finally found them that they were helpful… they all seem like very disinterested 20 year olds that were left to run things. Don’t get me started on the smoking in rooms, hallway smells and the stains all over the walls. My advice, pay a bit more to stay someplace that doesn’t make your skin crawl.
