About this apartment rental
Our house is an elegant and bright two-level apartment set in a unique setting in the city: it is located in the magical and central Borgo Marinari, the islet where the famous Castel dell'Ovo stands, connected to Via Caracciolo by a romantic bridge. A stone's throw from the best hotels in the city, some of its major monuments, as well as the sea, the house is in a position that is difficult to match.
It represents an ideal starting point to visit the city and its surroundings, to enjoy the intense and changing panoramas of Naples, but also a welcoming and romantic refuge to spend the evenings at home with friends, enjoy a dinner or read, work and relax.
The house has been recently renovated, with parquet and luxury finishes, is tastefully furnished and is equipped with every comfort. The house is composed as follows:
- On the first level, there is a spacious and bright living area, furnished with care and elegance with a six-seater table, sofas, a hammock and TV. You will also find a large, sunny and equipped kitchen, with a table for four, fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher. On the first floor there is also a lovely double bedroom which communicates with that of the upper floor through a closable window. The room has a small balcony overlooking Castel dell'Ovo. A guest bathroom and a laundry room with washing machine complete the lower floor. If necessary, the beds in the double bedroom can be separated.
- Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a master double bed with an en suite bathroom, equipped with a bathtub. The bedroom overlooks the lower floor bedroom from which it is separated by a closable glass door and a blackout curtain. There is also a comfortable study area with a two-seater sofa bed. The study area can, if necessary, be isolated and darkened through a curtain and therefore includes two more beds. The study area is connected to a colorful bathroom with shower and a large closet space.
The house is equipped with every comfort: TV, independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, double fixtures. The house, located in a safe area, also has an armored door.
We can also accommodate the little ones and on request we can provide high chairs, camp beds ...

Very spacious accommodations with a big kitchen with a separate laundry room. The second floor was a mezzanine so not enclosed which lead to the two main bedrooms stacked on top of each other. If anyone snored, even with the windows closed led to discomfort. The location of the apartment on a pedestrian area lead to some challenges with luggage if you couldn’t convince the taxi to drive up to the door. The area had lots of cafes and restaurants which was great but could be a bit loud if you wanted to go to sleep early. The host was great.

I cannot imagine a better place to stay when in Naples. The location is perfect. It's a 20 minute walk to the ferries; there's a huge assortment of restaurants, bars and gelato vendors immediately out the front door. It's walking distance to the shopping district too. There's also a good and inexpensive grocery store close by. And it has beautiful scenery all around it. It feels completely safe even late at night.The actual apartment is much larger and nicer than the pictures show. The couches and beds are all comfortable. The bathrooms (there are 2.5!) are large with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The AC works well. The apartment truly has everything that you could need. This may be the best VRBO I have stayed in and I am a frequent traveler. The owner and manager were super easy to work with and very flexible with times in and out. I would give this my highest recommendation. I hope to stay here again when I am back in Naples.

The area was amazing. Marcello was a wonderful host. The apartment was spacious and with ample room for up to 6 people. We enjoyed our days there

We loved staying at Marcello’s apartment. It is located next to an old castle right near the water. There is a stunning view of the coast and Mt. Vesuvius. The apartment was air conditioned which was very nice for my mother. We hadn’t had this luxury at other apartments in Florence and Rome. We also used the washing machine which was necessary near the end of our two week stay in Italy.Marcello and his assistant were friendly and provided thorough and clear directions and check in instructions. They made us feel at home. We hope to stay again in the future if we can!
