Location, location, location! Very easy for someone able bodied to safely walk right over to the Asheville airport at 4am. There are crosswalks on 3 sides of the intersection and the button quickly turns the light. Got every last possible minute of sleep! It was surprisingly comfortable, quiet and clean for the price. Definitely will stay again.
They should expect primarily travelers (no other destinations near here), and it's rotten that their shuttle doesn't cover all flights. It doesn't start until 4:30a so if you have a 5a boarding time with bags to check, you have to either call a rideshare for a 20 second ride (another traveler's rideshare no-showed on them), or walk. Shuttle also ends early so if your plane is late you may end up in the same situation.
