Definitely old school and we were one of only a few guests in this rather large inn. It was value for money. Our receptionist was a kind and friendly fellow.
It needed more life --- but then again, it was raining outside

Close to everything you need there. They don’t false advertise, this is exactly what you get. Nothing too ritzy but a clean, early 2000’s style hotel, smells nice and the bed was unexpectedly one of the most comfortable ever.
If I had to say I didn’t like something it would be that the restaurant isn’t open late but the bar was so it wasn’t a problem really haha
