the room was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable

the soap dispenser in the bathroom was ceramic and slipped out of my hand and broke into many pieces in the shower

Location. Clean and quiet room.
Upon arriving at the check in time we were told the room was not ready and they had no idea when it would be. Super tired after a multi hour drive we couldn’t even take a shower or change clothes. Had to wait for 2 hours (!). When we finally stepped in the room, our luggage was not there even though they had said it would be taken care of. Called the reception, reminded them. 30 minutes later (!!) we finally got our stuff.
They did offer a “credit for the inconvenience”. $150 which didn’t even cover the 2-night parking. That’s it. No complimentary upgrades, breakfast, drinks or something to make it less annoying.
Is this a 5 star hotel experience? You decide
Also, the cocktails at the bar are very expensive and very meh in terms of taste
