Staff was friendly and welcoming. They handed us waters the moment we walked in. The breakfast was delicious and staff was very attentive during our entire stay.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly. The place looked like it was recently renovated, i.e., the carpet in the hallway looked new and the room furniture looked updated. We were allowed to check in early which was very helpful as we traveled to Penn State to attend a football game.
The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. The shower had shampoo and conditioner dispensers but no body wash. We had to use the small hand soap by the sink. When we called to ask a few questions, the receptionist told us they had a shuttle to the game so we assumed it was run by the hotel. We were surprised to learn that the shuttle was run by an outside vendor that charged $20 per person (cash).
