Friendly staff. Clean room. We have stayed here a few times before. Always on the second floor until this time. Idk if they updated all the rooms or only the bottom floor because the room we got was updated and had nicer amenities and furniture. Nicer fridge and bigger TV. The upstairs rooms are very outdated and need remodeling. But always clean. It is a decent place to stay in such a small town. There are no other better motels in a 30-mile radius. The price is fair for the place and we will stay here again when visiting family in the area.
The shower was a little outdated but had a newer shower head installed. Too big for the little tub it is in, so no room to get out of the water stream. The heater unit under the windows was rusted, and vent direction controls were gone/broken, but the unit worked. We had to prop things against the curtain to make it stay against the window when the air was blowing, however, with no way to direct the air. Bed was way too firm for me. Made my back hurt, but my son loved the firmness.
