Location and staff were excellent. Rooftop has gorgeous views with great staff as well. Steven did a great job with service.

Everyone was great. I think I got the nicest room in the hotel. It had a small balcony where you could sit and watch the world go by…
The front door needs to be adjusted so it does not SLAM when it closes, everytime. The sound radiates up to the room and would wake me up. I asked about it and it was never adjusted.

Location was A+. The lobby lounge was warm and inviting. Staff was friendly and always easy to find for questions about the town, dinner recommendations, etc.
The rooms are small. if you are used a lot of space or need space, then this charming historical building is not for you. If you want an intimate, cozy stay that has plenty of relaxing spot on property (just not in the room itself) then this won’t be a problem at all.

Roof top lounge.
This time the room was tight. could barely move around. Tv remotes were wonky. You need two remotes to turn on/off, change channel, volume up/down. They did supply us with 2 camp chairs for my wife and I but last time they were a folding type lawn chair that was short for sitting on the beach. This time they were camping chairs in a bag. Easy to transport but lousy for beach use.
