It was good overall. One lesson leaned is not staying next to the elevator which by the way it’s incredibly slow! Breakfast is ok. Staff seemed friendly. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and pleasant. I will stay here again.

More small towels in the bathroom. Elevator is so very slow.

It was located close to the college I needed to be near.

My door’s bolt did not go in the blot’s slot in the door frame. Also, the shower wand’s holder was already broken when I arrived. So, I had to hold the shower wand throughout showering. I told the front desk clerk about this second problem.

Location, cleanliness, hotel staff

Loose bathroom tiles, no bacon with eggs for breakfast. Should vary between sausages and bacon. Good pillows were swapped with smaller pillows on the 3rd day.

It was in a nice location.

We stayed here 4 years ago and it was sooooo nice. Clean and neat and pleasant. What a difference!! It was evidently remodeled but they should have left it alone. It was very pretty and homey with white rockers on the porch by the entrance. Now it is just dumpy and not at all comfy and homey looking. The first thing I noticed was a dirty bath towel hanging on the hook on the door. A piece of the baseboard tile was broken off and laying there, the floor by the one bed was dirty, the cover on the bed was dirty, the door on the air conditioner was broken and just lay open, the freezer was all frosted over, and then I found out that we got charged an additional $20 per night for our little Pug. I booked, and paid for, the room through booking.com. I requested and paid for a deluxe 2 queen pet room. My receipt from booking.com said "the total price for your stay (which was for 2 nights) is: $242.95." I thought this was quite high, but having stayed there before and been extremely happy with our stay, we decided to stay there anyway. Then to have an additional $40 charge (after reading on the booking.com receipt, The total price of your stay is USD $242.95, I was not very happy. But the frosting on the cake was when we were walking in the side door, I slipped on an inspection plate and fell. Luckily, I fell on my rear end because I had 2 hip replacements last year so landing on a hip would have been very bad. My husband tried to pick me up, but he has bad shoulder and a bad neck, so I told him too go see if there was anyone who could help him. He went to the front desk, and doesn't know if the man was staying at the hotel or what, but he came and with my husband's help, they were able to lift me up to standing. Nothing was broken, thank God, but I am still really sore 4 days after my fall. This stay was not the kind of memorable occasion I was hoping for because we were visiting our son and it was right on my birthday.
