When I arrived, I inspected the room and could not breathe. The air conditioning unit had a layer of dust and lint inside the vents. The room smelled like mildew. The carpet was stained and looked not clean. I could not imagine walking barefoot in the room. therefore, this concluded my inspection but i was very certain i would find additional surprises had i continued.
I immediately left and booked a room elsewhere for that same night. I purchased my tickets off of discounted website that would not allow refunds. I did not even stay or sleep in the hotel room as i immediately left and never returned.
Sadly, i will never be using agoda again due to their cancellation policy. A customer should be allowed to inspect the room and cancel if does not meet standards.
