Hollister Inn

Basic, no frills but close to Hollister OHV.

Great accommodation and room quiet, enjoyed the room clean and peaceful and staff took care of me every morning

Had everything we needed, micro, mini fridge, iron, etc. Right outside of downtown, 10 min walk to local restaurants and bars.

I was glad to book this stay to show my fiancé around. I grew up in the area and the location of Hollister Inn is very central. Very short drive to downtown and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and public spots. It made me glad to be close to El Nopal (sad I missed them during my visit). Also got to hit up my favorite food joint and get groceries/takeout when wanting to dine in the room. It was nice that I could write in my notes during booking when I expected to check in. I arrived an hour earlier and they were happy to check me in. While we were out, they kept up the room cleanliness. Staff was easy to talk to and clarified they stopped the breakfast bar since COVID. Hence why I was glad to be close to the local grocery stores. Room with the queen bed was decently sized and they were able to accommodate my request to be on the ground floor. The a/c heater machine was perfect since the mornings were cold during my visit. Took a bit of figuring out to get a warm temperature for the shower. Glad the mirror and sink was located outside from the shower and toilet. There was a great table and side table that let me get ready for outside excursions. I was glad for all the outlets situated around the room. It was also wonderful to have parking right outside of the rooms. I knew of the location and was glad to utilize Hollister Inn to show my fiancé around.
