Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Airport

This is an older Travelodge built in the mid-60s. Not many of those properties left. The good thing however is that this place is build out of pre-fab concrete (ie "modular"), which means the rooms are MUCH QUIETER than other name-brand hotels with paper thin walls. In fact, that's why I booked this one. Even when doors in the hall slam, you can't hear it inside these concrete rooms. I do wish all hotels were still built like this one. Can't speak about all the other services, but they don't matter to me if I can get some sound-proof rest before my flight. There was a shuttle parked outside, but didn't have to use it. (BTW, I consider the vintage OTIS elevators to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Can't miss those big white-on-black buttons!)

No Breakfast, but many options right up the street. Simple to find and convenient to destinations.

Trouble finding the light switch in the bathroom. Also Card key was not working on door lock. It would normally take four or five minutes to get through the door.

Very centralized for all the locations I wanted to get to. Wooster, Cleveland zoo, Elyria, Brook Park.. overall acceptable location, nice staff, very spacious room. Allowed smoking for a deposit.

Run down a bit. Stained rugs, sliding door for balcony was off it's runner, wifi wouldn't reach to the 5th floor, gave us one towel, one floor matt and one wash cloth. One roll of tp for a weekend stay. (Fri-sun) For 2adults and 1 child.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was very convenient and close to the airport.

It was not clean, the bathroom had bugs, and it was noisy.
