Cambria Landing Inn and Suites

Newish property with big window views of ocean from our patio and easy access to 2 mile boardwalk across the road in front. Nice small breakfast options, snack bars in the afternoon. Nice to have restaurants near by. Enjoyed the roof top hot tubs every evening. Also the outdoor fireplace was nice to sit by in the evening. Would stay again when on the California coast.

We should have booked the second floor fir better view and privacy from cars on the road right in front of our room. Many of the properties in this area are built long and narrow only offering a few rooms with a direct ocean view so keep that in mind if important to you.

It’s very quiet and scenic. We love the area. The bathtub is the main feature we book for.

The hot water ran out very quickly. I’ve never experienced that in a hotel. It’s disappointing when you spend extra to get a huge soaking tub but the water doesn’t stay hot to fill it up. The jets on the tub also randomly turn on through the night. They are very loud and don’t turn off unless you get up and press the button. There was also mold in the shower, food left in the fridge and a joint left on the fireplace. Leads me to believe it doesn’t get cleaned very well. The WiFi doesn’t work at all, so if you need to be available for work keep that in mind.

I had to check in at 8PM in another hotel no personnel at rhe facility. The hotel has no elevator so hayling luggage is a problem. Breakfast was seeved with no seating area and supplies run out immediately because of the limited space.
