This was the 5th time I stayed at this hotel and I plan to go back. Nice clean, well decorated rooms. Good hot water and water pressure in the showers. I like the smell of the soaps. The staff is nice and the morning breakfast is a real plus! It was easy to log onto the wifi. The hotel is right around many restaurants and just a short 3 minute drive away from a gas station. I am thrilled that I discovered this place and will continue to use it as a halfway stop on my 10 hour trip from Indianapolis, IN to Boalsburg, PA. Thanks!
Four out of five times I have stayed at this hotel, I have had a room on "the better side" of the building. What I mean is, the one side faces the distant highway, a restaurant right next door and a bunch of other businesses that are all lit up at night and look exciting and social and just nice. One time I was put in a room on the opposite side of the building. What I saw was a big dark parking lot from a business that wasn't open at night. It was blah. It didn't hurt me in any way to have that room. I mean, I got sleep and the scene wasn't dirty or anything. Just not as nice as the lit up side. Also I felt that since the lit up side is the side the check-in/check-out area is, I could watch my car in the parking lot to see it was safe. But I didn't really feel like parking my car on the other side of the building when I was put in a room there because that side was not all lit up. Perhaps someone who really doesn't like any light at all at night would be thrilled to be on the darker side of the building. Some people don't like any light at night. I would still go back to that hotel even if I knew in advance that I could only get a room on my non-preferred side. I like the place. Thanks.
