Although the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained the rooms lack appeal. This is our second stay since Appellation bought this once charming resort and spa. Wish you were extremely fond of a minimalist room this is not the place I would recommend. Both visits were very disappointing because we were given depressing handicap bathrooms. The old Wine And Roses was charming and a very special place…..no longer. I do recommend the spa however.

Beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms great location. Maybe the most expensive hotel in Lodi but still less expensive than most places at this caliber.. Definitely the secret hidden gem of Lodi

We decided on the spur of the moment to go see Sandhill Cranes and have never been to Lodi; to see them well we had to be there at sunset and sunrise, so we decided to spend the night. The room was well-appointed. Having robes, slippers, wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room was very much appreciated, and the Americana Restaurant was lively, beautiful, delicious and the service was excellent. The deep tub in the room was very nice and the shower gels etc were good quality. Would definitely stay there again.
