Road noise and overall a little noisy around the property

Very nice motel! Everything was as expected! The staff was so nice!

It is a bit dated, but like any other motel and part of the motels' vibe

The clerk was very courteous. The room was very clean and welcoming. The area was fairly quiet.

The shower head pressure was not all that great.

We picked this hotel mainly for the location, and that part delivered. Parking was straightforward, the area felt safe, and it’s an easy walk to the beach with plenty of good restaurant options nearby. The blackout shades were excellent. The TV worked well and Wi-Fi was fine for basic browsing.

Unfortunately, the room didn’t feel properly turned over when we checked in. We found hairs on the bed, a used face towel hanging on the shower curtain rod, and an open tissue packet near the tea area, which appeared to be left from the prior guest. The AC was also confusing - the temperature controls didn’t seem to work as expected and the room got uncomfortably cold at night on the fan mode. If we turned it off, freeway traffic noise was very loud, which is tough for light sleepers. The bed was okay but not the most comfortable.
