The staff, as always. Location, the lounge area, all the acitivity options.
I got food poisoning from the breakfast. I cooked 3 eggs that were sitting out next to the cooker early in the morning. 2 days of hell while travelling by bus and boat created so many opportunities for the goodness of humanity to reveal itself to those who projectile vomit while breaking the laws of bodily physics. When in darkness the light appears, I guess! But next time, I’ll try find it without spluttery spots of spew on my shoes!
I’ll put it down to a freak accident because I think this hostel is pretty damn great when considering everything else. Maybe avoid the eggs if you see them hanging by a constant heat source - the stove is always primed and ready to cook.
