Nice views, clean and spacious room, good breakfast, hosts are very kind, always greet you with a smile and try to be accommodating in every way possible. That said, guests should have the proper expectations - this is not a typical hotel per se, you're staying at someone's home with other house guests, there are house rules to follow and quiet hours to observe. While it worked out great for us, I can see how this is not everyone's cup of tea.
Coming from an Asian household, I fully understand the house slipper concept. However not everyone feels comfortable wearing communal/reused slippers even though it's a very common practice in some parts of the world. A simple solution will be to offer disposable slippers as an option.

I loved this place! Everything from the view to nice room with comfy beds to delicious breakfasts! You have all you need there for shorter and longer stay and area is lovely! It is a perfect place if you want to visit regional parks in the area and it is also close (around 15-20 mins by car) to Victoria!
Even though we received super clear instructions how to get there and what to look for as we arrived super late at night it was a bit hard to locate where HOV is. It was not a big issue as within few minutes we were already inside but it was dark and was raining so I believe permanent light fixture (alway on) on the sign or post box would be helpful. Aside from that I have NO complaints!

Breakfast was very good and the homeowners make great efforts to be exceptionally clean.
However, there was an odor from the drains which was quite unpleasant. To be fair, we did not address this with the owners.
