For me, as a skier, this hotel was ideal. I stayed there for 6 nights and that was all right. But I’m not very demanding when travelling alone and I came there to ski so I only used the hotel as a place to stay. I know that if I came there with my wife, she wouldn’t like it. It’s very basic, slightly tired with a ski room which was extremely primitive. The breakfast was very basic too. But… you get what you pay for…. and that’s ok with me
The location was perfect. Bus stops to and from were right outside the door. Room was quiet and pleasantly warm, cleanliness was spot on.
All in all, I didn’t mind the place but wouldn’t recommend it either.

Basic and boring breakfast
My room which was at the back was dark and depressing (but it was quiet)
Tired and very basic furniture; but the linen had been changed during my stay and towels were changed daily

Pleasant place, everything you need for a short stay for a reasonable price. Good breakfast, modern sauna was a nice surprise.

Friendly, reasonable food, excellent bed.
Small bathroom. No English black tea for breakfast ! Breakfast a little limited but ok. No Salzburg area tourist travel pass offered / available (?) which would have saved on transfer costs. Closing the sauna at 8am was an hour too early for me.
