La camera è molto originale e la posizione nella piazza della fontana è veramente interessante
l'accesso al bagno è un po' strano e scomodo, comunque originale. La cassettina delle chiavi di ingresso non funzionava bene. Sarebbe auspicabile sapere che la struttura si trova in ZTL e magari poter avere accesso temporaneo per scarico bagagli

The location is interesting and historic. I have known Ventimiglia for almost 20 years, but I have never stayed in the old town before. There is a really nice restaurant just next door. The accommodation itself must be fine in colder outdoor temperatures. The owner reacts immediately.
When the outside temperature approaches 30 degrees, this accommodation becomes an oven. Yes, the owner argues that the air conditioning is not included in the price, but a standing fan won't save you. She was not clear until the second day when she sent a concrete picture of another ventilator with a tube (on the picture), which helps, but not completely. At night, it was 26 degrees in the room, and I felt sick. Next to the bed is a refrigerator that hums in your ear, then the standing fan next to the bed, and then the ventilator box with a tube hanging out of the window. Lots of noise. And the final cooling effect is mostly near the window area. This system doesn't work well. I slept only few hours per night.
Secondly, the bed for two is more for one. We are both petite, but the bed is not comfortable: I kept sliding to the right because the mattress bends. It's an IKEA guest bed, definitely not for men or people over 165 cm.
There was no normal kettle in the kitchen, just the Italian type for "moka coffee" made of aluminium, which not everyone prefers.
The knives bend, which is dangerous when you just want to cut a cucumber.
The television was not programmed and could not be programmed (I speak both Italian and English fluently).
The accommodation is in a historic renovated building, which normally prevents the effect of a hot oven (I have slept in such buildings in a place near Ventimiglia). Here, however, this has not been achieved, and it is already hot on the stairs. And for some reason, no investment has been made in the air conditioning.
