Fantastic house, spacious, right next to the sea, close to Port Louis. Kayak available to use. We had a great family holiday. Communication from host was very good. I would highly recommend.

Pour une première reunion de travail en live après deux ans de confinement, c’était un réel plaisir de se retrouver dans ce cadre magnifique.
La situation "pied dans l'eau" offre un accès privatif à la mer et une vue exceptionnelle

The view is stunning and the location right on the beach is unbeatable. Watching the tides go in and out always gives you something to watch while relaxing on the lovely terrace. The two canoes are a great extra to use when it is high tide. There is a great beach just a 2 minute walk away where the children loved building sand castles.
Unfortunately the house is a bit of a let down. It is definately spacious, with a large kitchen and plenty of bedrooms (5) but it is lacking in comfort and hygene. There is not enough comfortable seating to chill and read a book; the couch is large but uncomfortable and whilst having a beautifully located terrace there are only 5 chairs around a small table and two loungers, all without comfortable seating. If you are staying in a house for 10 people you need more (comfortable) seating.
I also feel that the arrival welcome was a missed opportunity; having to make your own beds is okay, but make sure that there is linnen on the beds. We had to look in all the cupboards to find linnen and then to discover there was not enough bed sheets. We made do with using duvet covers as sheets, but had to wash the linnens first as they smelt funny. There were also no towells or dishcloths available. The towells were our mistake as this was stated in the contract, and the owner was kind enough to compensate us after we had to buy the missing goods.
Lastly the hygene; more time needs to be spent cleaning the showers and bathrooms and the ventilation points need a seriously good wash.
All en all we had a lovely time with the family exploring the coast and discovering all that south Brittany has to offer. Riantec is a quiet sleepy town with a great bakery around the corner. However I do feel when paying a premium price you have premium expectations, and whilst other Homeway houses met those expectations this one did not.
