Also inside there is a kitchen and a living dining room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is a patio and a raised terrace with tables and chairs as well as a free public car park in the town. Middle Cottage is a charming cottage in the centre of a fantastic town.

Renowned for its history and race horses, the attractive Wensleydale town of Middleham is dominated by its Norman castle, dating from 1190. This impressive structure boasts a castle keep, second in size only to the Tower of London. The town's market square has been cobbled and is home to a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, though for more choice, the bustling town of Leyburn is just a short drive away. The Forbidden Corner, a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and surprises is also close by and is located in four acres of grounds.
