The Coach House at Mayfurlong Farm, a lovely holiday home, consists of a kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, and Rangemaster oven and hob, and a living/dining room with TV and dining seating. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, double, and twin. There is a bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in shower, and basin and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a rear patio and private driveway parking for two cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. The Coach House at Mayfurlong Farm offers a splendid retreat, whatever time of year.

The village of Waterhouses lies between the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne on the southern fringes of the Peak National Park. The village was once the terminus of the Manifold Valley Light Railway - now the scenic Manifold Cycle Track, which winds its way through the picturesque valleys of the Rivers Hamps and Manifold. The track is flat and traffic free for cyclists, walkers and horse-riders. Waterhouses offers a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. The famous Alton Towers Theme Park is only a short drive away.
