Welcome to Crimson Pines — a fully updated forest bunkie tucked deep into 40 private acres of woodland in Norfolk County. Whether you're here with a partner, a group of friends, or the whole family, this space was built for people who want nature without roughing it.

Sleeping up to 5 guests across three sleep zones:
- King bed on the main floor
- Queen loft bed with a view of the fire pit
- Pull-out futon for the fifth guest

Inside you'll find cozy lighting, a small dining table, Wi-Fi, and everything you need to slow down and actually breathe.

THE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
This is where Crimson Pines earns its keep.

Step outside and you've got your own fire pit, a beautiful covered gazebo for morning coffee or evening hangs, and our signature outdoor nature shower — a cold-water rinse surrounded by trees that feels equal parts invigorating and cinematic. (Yes, your friends will be jealous of this photo.)

The grill is set up and ready. Miles of forest trails are yours to explore. And when the sun goes down, the sky out here actually shows up.

HEATING + YEAR-ROUND COMFORT
The bunkie is fully insulated and equipped with a diesel heater, so you can visit any season. We stock firewood and fill the diesel before your arrival — just bring firestarters and extra blankets for winter stays. If you're booking in the colder months, you already know what you're signing up for, and we respect that.

BATHROOM + WATER
A shared washroom with a warm water shower and toilet is on-site and easy to access. The outdoor nature shower uses cool groundwater — it's a vibe, not a replacement. Please bring biodegradable soap for the outdoor shower. Tap water on-site is well water (not filtered).

WHAT'S PROVIDED
Bed linens and pillows
Toilet paper
BBQ grills + utensils (bring your own charcoal)
Propane BBQ
First aid kit
Solar-powered electricity and running water

WHAT TO PACK
Drinking water
Food, ice, charcoal
Biodegradable soap

This is a rural, car-first location. Public transit is limited in the area. We recommend arriving with a vehicle and downloading maps/check-in info before you lose service.

We like to keep things clear and upfront so you can feel 100% confident about what to expect. Here are a few helpful things to know before your stay:

Wi-Fi is available — signal can dip in the deep forest, so treat this as a digital detox bonus, not a co-working setup.

Washroom & Shower: A shared washroom with warm/cold shower, toilet, and an outdoor well-access tap is nearby and easy to access.

Water & Electricity: There’s a tap on-site for general use (well water, not filtered). The sink has cold, unfiltered well water. There is no "filtered" drinking water on-site—please bring your own. The bunkie is equipped with solar-powered lighting and basic power.

Winter guests: the road may not be plowed right to the bunkie. A short walk through the snow is part of the charm.

Garbage: There are no large garbage bins and no roadside pickup. Please be prepared to bring your garbage to the dump during your stay, or you will need to bring it home with you to dispose of it. If any garbage is left behind, a $75.00 cleanup, transfer, and dump fee will be charged.

Guest Verification
To protect our home and stay aligned with short-term rental regulations, we use an independent verification process for all guests. Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your reservation. If you are not booking with Airbnb you will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver.
