Fenny Marina Cottage consists of a kitchen with microwave, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and fridge/freezer, a dining room with dining seating for six, and a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, double, and twin. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and heated towel rail and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a front garden with lawn, gravelled area, and decking with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking at this property. Guests can find a shop within 1.3 miles and a pub in 0.2 miles. Whatever the weather, a wonderful stay awaits at Fenny Marina Cottage. Note: Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 11 am. Note: Any more than two dogs will have to be agreed with the owner.

The hamlet of Fifehead Neville is peacefully located within the Blackmore Vale, less than ten miles from Blandford Forum in glorious North Dorset. The surrounding countryside, celebrated by Thomas Hardy, who wrote Return of The Native in nearby Sturminster Newton, is now a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers superb scenic walks and is a haven for wildlife. There is plenty to see and do within an easy drive, including Stourhead House and Gardens, the fabulous abbey and castles at Sherborne, the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury, as well as the bustling market town of Dorchester. Just a little further afield, the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury, and the popular seaside resorts of Bournemouth and Weymouth provide great days out. A super holiday base from which to explore this lovely part of the Dorset.
