This idyllic spot offers scenic walks from your doorstep. Discover the area’s local culture and legends in nearby Carmarthen (6.5 miles), situated on the River Tywi. The town retains the ruins of an ancient castle and is full of Arthurian legends. This market town is also perfect for browsing independent shops and savouring some of the local cuisine in one of the many eateries.
This inviting property features a beautiful high ceiling, adding to a lovely sense of spaciousness, and with plenty of natural light flooding in from the large picture windows. The welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this charming contemporary lodge has a restful ambience and showcases plenty of homely touches. Wildlife buffs will love a day bird watching at Scott’s Bay, 3.5 miles away, and walkers can enjoy the views across the bay, the sandy beach and rock pools at National Trust Ragwen Point (17 miles). Take your buckets and spades and water sports gear and head to the gloriously golden sands of Llansteffan Beach (3 miles away) or Pembrey Country Park and Beach (20 miles).
