There is a family shower room. The rest of the property contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside of the property there is a front lawned area with furniture. Corner Cottage is a perfect base for couples and families looking to explore County Durham and the Yorkshire Dales.

Closely associated with the fortunes of nearby Raby Castle and its owners is the pretty Teesdale village of Staindrop in the Yorkshire Dales. The castle, a monument that is open to the public, is one of the grandest in England.
