The Space:
Wayside Lodge consists of an open-plan living space with a kticehn with electric oven and hob, microwave, a dining space for four, and a sitting area with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite cloakroom and a twin, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is decking and an enclosed garden with hot tub, fire pit, and furniture, plus off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.3 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub, and please note this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved pet welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the south of Shropshire, close to the River Clun, the little village of Aston on Clun boasts a rich history that goes as far back as the Bronze Age and is recorded in the Domesday Book as Esten. The village is home to some famous buildings, including the Watermill, Round Houses, Court House and a Baptist Chapel, along with a pub, The Kangaroo Inn, and a community shop. The market town of Craven Arms is nearby, home to a series of fascinating buildings, while the medieval town of Ludlow and the delightful Church Stretton. This is the perfect base for touring all of beautiful Shropshire at any time of year.
