The Barn, a ground-floor apartment, consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, a dining area seating two, and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedroom consists of a king-size bed, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is a front patio area with furniture and barbecue, plus private, off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.2 miles, lake 0.3 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Enjoy a romantic hideaway at The Barn. Note: Please bring your own dog covers for soft furnishings or ask on arrival. Note: Guests are requested to keep noise outside to a minimum after 10pm in respect to the locality. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 200GBP.
The Neighborhood:
Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
