Birch cottage itself is a welcoming four-bedroom property arranged across three floors and designed to comfortably accommodate families or small groups. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room where guests can relax, along with a well-equipped kitchen/dining area that provides plenty of space for preparing and enjoying meals together. The first floor includes a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, as well as a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. The top floor features a single bedroom and the main family room, which contains a double bed and an additional single bed along with its own En-suite bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy a shared garden area at the rear of the property, complete with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ, which is shared with the neighbouring cottage. The farm also has an indoor swimming pool that guests can book for private use.
The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside. A public footpath runs directly behind the property and leads up to Win Hill, offering access to some of the most scenic walking routes in the area. The nearby village of Hope has a selection of friendly pubs, cafés and local shops, while outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, climbing and caving are all easily accessible throughout the valley. Popular nearby attractions include Ladybower Reservoir making this an excellent base for exploring both countryside and city attractions.
Please note that use of the indoor swimming pool is not included in the accommodation price. The pool can be booked for private use at £25 per 55-minute session. All sessions must be reserved in advance, with availability opening three weeks prior to your stay. Each booking provides exclusive use of the pool for your group during your allocated time slot.
