The Neighborhood:
Westkapelle sits on the west coast of Walcheren and is known for its lighthouse, wide beaches and impressive sea dyke. From the house you can walk into the dunes and reach the beach within minutes. The village has several restaurants and shops. Domburg and Zoutelande are a short cycle away, offering more shops, terraces and beach pavilions.
Getting Around:
Parking is easy at Casembrootstraat 27a with space on the driveway, where you can also load. The home is on one level and accessible. If we’re not at home, the house is open with the key on the table. This makes arranging your stay straightforward.
Other Things to Note:
The sea dyke of Westkapelle is popular with walkers and cyclists. At low tide you can search for fossils and shells on the beach. The Polderhuis on the dyke tells the story of the 1953 flood disaster. Middelburg and Veere make excellent day trips.
