About this cottage rental
Located in the pretty, seafood-loving coastal town of Looe, this eight-bed property is ideal for a group of friends or family seeking a dog-friendly Cornish getaway with easy access to amenities and picturesque beaches. Get to know the maritime history, sea-view walking trails and independent restaurants around you while staying in South Cornwall. Enjoy open-plan living and an outdoor decking area in this contemporary, town-centre holiday home.
On arrival, step into the welcoming lounge which has a large corner sofa for relaxing after busy days out in the fresh air. This flows through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, equipped with a range cooker for rustling up feasts and a wooden table for sitting down to meals together. When it’s time to settle down for the night, head up to the first floor, where you’ll find a shower room and two comfortable bedrooms – a twin and a double. A second staircase takes you up to the top floor, home to a lovely king-size bedroom, a double room and a stylish bathroom complete with a freestanding bath, WC and an elegant tiled floor – excellent for those indulgent holiday soaks! Outside there is a small, enclosed area safe for allowing a dog out. Parking is available in Quay Car Park, which is less than 0.5 miles away.
While staying in South East Cornwall, you can sample some freshly caught fish at the local restaurants and enjoy evening cocktails at one of the riverside bars. Wander along the pier and visit the town museum. Follow the South West Coast Path into the Cornwall National Landscape, stopping at Polperro Beach (4.5 miles) and Talland Bay (3 miles). Further afield, you’ll find the Eden Project (21.5 miles), the vineyards of East Looe Valley (4.5 miles) and a monkey sanctuary (4 miles).
