Driftway Stables Retreat consists of a kitchen/diner with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms include two king size, one with en-suite basin and WC and one with an added single bed. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden and off-road parking with additional dry barn parking available. EV charging available at an additional cost. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. No smoking however smoking is allowed outside. You'll find a shop in 2.6 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. Hairdryer, essentials, and shampoo included. Private entrance. Driftway Stables Retreat is a lovely base for exploring Norfolk. Note: The stairs are steep and the ceiling is low. This property has a good house keeping bond of 250GBP. Please note that this property accepts one dog on request between May and August, subject to prior approval from the property owner. Please note this property does not accept children under 12.
The Neighborhood:
The village of Garboldisham is set in Norfolk, close to the border of Suffolk, meaning it is a wonderful base for discovering both counties. Garboldisham offers a well-stocked local village store and post office selling local produce, and also boasts a medieval church in the village. The Fox Inn is a community run pub which at present opens Friday - Sunday plus Bank. Garboldisham is close to the popular market town of Diss in south Norfolk which boasts a 13th century church and wonderful, winding, narrow streets which house tucked away, little courtyards. There is also a high street where visitors can find a selection of tea rooms and small shops and there are many activities in the area to keep all visitors happy, including golf and scenic walks, offering picturesque opportunities to discover this lovely area.
