The charming, traditional village of Milford on Sea boasts stunning sea views towards Christchurch Harbour and across to the Isle of Wight, as well as enchanting cliff-top walks and lovely beaches. Skim stones out to sea at the shingle Hordle Cliff Beach (1.5 miles), which is lined with colourful beach huts and benefits from breathtaking views across the Solent. Located at the seaward end of Hurst Spit, with spectacular views and plenty of open spaces for children to explore, Hurst Castle, a mile away, is a must-see for history lovers. Nature lovers can head to neighbouring Keyhaven (1 mile) to find plenty of bird watching opportunities in Keyhaven Nature Reserve at the Keyhaven Marshes, 1.5 miles away.
