The village offers a convenience shop, takeaways and a welcoming local pub, all within half a mile. Wool Train Station is also just half a mile away, meaning day trips to the likes of Dorchester, Weymouth, and Poole (all within 15 miles) are made easy. For nearby attractions, the ape rescue centre at Monkey World and the popular Tank Museum are both within 2 miles, while Dorset’s world-famous Jurassic Coast is never far away. Sandy and fossil-rich beaches here include Lulworth Cove, St Oswald's Bay Beach, and the amazing Durdle Door (all within 6.5 miles). For more outdoor adventure, join the South West Coast Path in West Lulworth (5.5 miles), or head further to the popular Isle of Portland (18 miles).

For some post-dinner relaxation, step through to the tranquil sunroom, accessed from the kitchen/diner, and enjoy a glass of something chilled as you look out over the garden. When day turns to night, choose from two sumptuous bedrooms, both of which are accessed from the hallway. Choose from a delightful super-king-size bedroom or a flexible twin bedroom that can be converted into a king-size on request.
